Medicine for Physicians
The brute reality is that of all the stakeholder in medicine – insurance firms, pharmaceutical companies, the Federal Government, Corporate America, hospitals systems, device manufacturers – physicians are the weakest.
Look at the state of the world.
We all see how medicine is changing.
We work overtime, take time away from our families to chart and can’t take a vacation too often because of coverage requirement. We have had no real leverage at the negotiating table, and we and our patients have suffered for it.
COVID has also unmasked the reality that physicians are respected but ultimately still commodities.
Now AI and telemedicine, employer run clinics, Big Tech, reimbursement changes, and private equity are all entering the over $3 trillion US healthcare industry. The economy is going digital to Web 3.0, consumer habits around wellness are rapidly changing, and inflation is likely here to stay for the foreseeable future.

Traditional success without fulfillment is an empty endeavor. You’ve reached the top of the mountain only to find the view is terrible. I’ve made that mistake many a time and it is not pleasant. It might be argued that this is true failure.
Where I Come In
I specialize in combining the important “soft skills” of crafting meaning, purpose and fulfillment with the “hard skills” of how to create wealth, professional autonomy, and personal vitality.
Inner development without impact is professional impotency. You can journey all you want but without impacting the community you care about, you don’t have much to show for it. I’ve been here as well. Good intentions with no resources leads nowhere.
You need both inner wisdom
and outer tactics. I have learned both.
Avoiding those topics, alas, is not a luxury you have any more but i can teach them to you in a way that is accessible, personalized and powerful to your unique goals.
The reality is that if you are like most other doctors, you don’t want to think about “business things.” You just want to help people but still find time for your family, your hobbies, and enjoy life.

My Story
Physicians are some of the most resilient professionals on the planet. I’ve admired them ever since I was young including both of my parents.
So why did i feel like such a failure?
I’ve huddled in the halls of academy for years and I arrived at the top of the mountain with my stated goal, and yet I felt alone, confused, and unfulfilled.
I achived all my career goals and I felt empty inside – true failure
Worse yet, I was disconnected from the central ethos of why I entered medicine in the first place.
When I saw more problems than opportunities, I know I had a problem.
Combine that with little time for myself, my patients or my family, I was beyond burned out.
I went through a dark knight of the soul and had personal emotional bankruptcy.
It hit a crescendo during the pandemic. I was covering multiple hospitals including doing emergency scopes in the ICU on patients with active COVID and running on no sleep and no time to recuperate.
I had to re-pivot my entire career, find a way to pay for bills, craft a new vision and reclaim my health and vitality.
I have been on a journey of growth and healing for over ten years. I’ve collaborated with coaches, strategists, therapists, trainers and physicians who have taught me invaluable ways to find my personal strength to bring clarity to chaos. I’ve scoured personal development courses, leadership books and business seminars.
All this time, I thought I was alone. But the more I shared my story with others, the more I realized I was part of a community of angry, upset, confused, and lost providers who wanted more for their lives and their patients.
Physicians are the greatest source of untapped potential in the world, at a moment in time when the world desperately needs it.
Now I am inhabiting abundance in my entire life and I have a new source of vitality for the future and my ambitions as well as caring for my health, family and my friends.
Burnout, career confusion, and fatigue are not your birthright. Charting for hours in your pajama time is not your destiny.
